"We loved the convenience of being at Blue Gate Hotel as we attended a show next door at the performance center that night. Just a quick walk across the parking lot to our show. There are spacious common areas to enjoy and the breakfast was great! Made to order omelets and the food offered was definitely a notch above chain hotel breakfasts! The grounds and inside the hotel were very clean and beautifully decorated for Fall. Our room itself was ok, but between the air conditioning unit & maybe the frig, it wasn't a real quiet night of trying to sleep. Definitely enjoyed Shipshewana and the clip clop sound of horses & buggies traveling by anytime we were outdoors."

"Had to pay $10 a day for parking my own car (it is listed near the bottom of Expedia page in 'fine print'...)Great coffee, room smelled a little like cleaner chemicals and Breakfast hours should be longer, at least on weekends."

"Our room was very clean, the breakfast food was OK if you enjoy scrambled eggs, sausage, and fried potatoes as that is what they serve each morning as far as hot food. They ran out of waffle mix and had to get The staff was helpful. The first lady that checked us in, her personality could’ve been a little bit better. The parking was very good because it was very convenient and there is no additional charge for that."
