"Check in is an absolute nightmare in this hotel. They have a virtual agent who will tell you check in can't be early (it can depending on if room is ready) also told by Zoe virtual agent that no place to leave luggage while waiting for room. Another lie there is a storage space downstairs. Can be noisy event after I told them I was autistic still no help. On the plus side the property has coffee maker and free breakfast etc"

"We caught a Bolt from the airport, about 18E and extremely efficient. As we were arriving late in the evening, we were sent check in details which were simple and easy to use. Breakfast for each day is preordered the day before and there was a great selection to choose from, everything we tried was superb and freshly prepared. There is also a small selection of pastries and cereals and of course coffee and juice. Our superior room 208 was lovely, spacious and tastefully decorated with large twin bathroom and great terrace:balcony overlooking the street with sun loungers. Fab coffee machine and small fridge with fresh bottled water daily. Each morning when we were at breakfast, our room was tidied and the bed made and towels refreshed. We chilled on the lovely roof terrace one day and sat by the pool another, both peaceful and calm. The location of the hotel is perfect, a few minutes walk from everywhere and relatively flat compared to Valletta! It’s a charming town with lots of fantastic restaurants and bags of history, busy by day with tour visitors to the Mdina and catacombs, then quieter at night with more locals out and about. Bus links were simple so it’s a great place to explore the island from, then return to the oasis of calm that is Pauline and Charlie’s hotel. Loved every minute of our stay and hope to return soon!"

"Great hotel, clean and friendly helpful staff. The disability amenities could be improved, the ramps are quite steep but the staff are always happy to assist. I found the shower difficult to access with a wheelchair. Excellent restaurant, great food. Overall I would recommend highly."

"Friendly staff. Helpful with luggage as place has no elevator. Good working airco. For hot water, ensure to put the boiler switch on. Location is perfect with a huge public parking lot in front of hotel. It’s right by the Mdina gate. "

"Loved the location it’s pretty much in the center of the town. Has restaurants & many coffee shops nearby. ☕️ The rooms are very spacious and chic, the tiles on the floor were my favorite!💙I loved that the windows are able to open into a tiny balcony and you can hear the birds all day. ☀️ AC was working fine, TV has access to Netflix/Prime etc. Wifi worked well. The stay was basically perfect!🌸"
