"The hotel is new and unfortunately some services were not open but in general the hotel was great. The only negative is the rooms were not sound proof and our suite was right next to the pool pump room, you could hear it all night. Still an excellent stay otherwise"

Chios is a very safe place but unfortunately my passport went missing, probably as I was leaving the airport. My advice would be if you are picking up a car not to sign for it on the main steps where it is busy and stay vigilant even if travel weary.
