"This hotel was not a planned destination but we're glad we wound there. The room was large and very comfortable. Good bathroom. Not marble upscale, but clean and comfortable. The restaurant was quite good and fairly priced. Even the wines. I wouldn't give high grades to the breakfast but it was good not to be tempted to overeat,"

"The property is significantly better than the photographs. It is exceptionally quiet and with amazing views of the Puy De Dome. The property is very clean and with great beds and a funky decor. There is no Wi-Fi, but there is 4G. My only issue, as that despite contacting the owner 3 times and 3 days 2 days and 24 hours before our arrival for the entry procedures, I had no contact until an extremely stressful 18 hours before arrival initiated by myself contacting VRBO for a 60 minute conversation...

"This chalet has a lovely view of the lake and the wooded hills. A lovely view at breakfast and during the evening meal. The chalet was very well appointed with all necessary utensils. While I loved the lake, trips to Puy de Dome and Massif de Sancy were also within an hour's drive. All in all a lovely introduction to the Auvergne."

"We enjoyed our stay here -- it's a nice house with a great view, and we appreciated being able to use it as a base for exploring this part of the country. We had no concerns at all -- everything about the property was exactly as described. The remoteness is part of the appeal -- though it does mean that it's not easy to pop out to a shop for something you might have missed/forgotten. With good planning, it's a really appealing place."

Mentions spéciales à la table de ping pong à l'extérieur mais couverte, au jacuzi à l'extérieur, et la salle de sport avec appareils. "Very nice, modern spa hotel with good sized rooms that are well equipped like a mini apartment, with kettle, coffee maker, toaster, fridge, dishwasher. It is reasonably priced for what you get and being a resident gives a discount for using the thermal spa facilities. I particularly enjoyed the hammam."
