"The Axel Valencia was a fantastic experience. The staff were friendly and professional, always ready to assist guests. We were delighted with the facilities and the spectacular breakfast. We've stayed at other Axel hotels (San Sebastián, Madrid, Mykonos, Buenos Aires, Barcelona, ​​and Berlin). Valencia has personality and exceptional management and staff! We had planned a 3-night stay but decided to stay 8. The important thing was to feel welcome and comfortable! "Outstanding hotel in the best location of Valencia! This is def going to be our choice coming back. Everything about this boutique hotel was excellent. The staff was super friendly, helpful, and all-around welcoming. Especially Juan Manuel at the desk - who went out of his way every time. The staff in the rooftop cafe/bar where they serve a delicious breakfast made to order were thoughtful about everything they did. In the room: we had a balconey that looked up the street into the Cathedral Square - yet the room was blissfully quiet at night. Bed & bedding: excellent. The decor was understated elegance. Bathroom was roomy, great BIG shower, bathrobes all really lovely. Our room also had a small kichenette we really only used to make coffee and keep things cool, but it was nice having the option. As a larger room it had a comfy couch & big tv well positioned. Staff noted (from passport?) that it was my birthday. When we came back from lunch there was a bottle of bubbly and some chocoates with a birthday greeting! Really cannot fault anything about this hotel. Would absolutely stay here any time we're in Valencia. Thanks so much!"
