"We loved our stay here. The scenery is amazing to start but the cleanliness and staff of the hotel really made it great. This is a very quiet area of Italy but was a great place to start our trip before moving on the Florence. "

"In the title it’s listed as a hotel. It’s a room for rent in someone’s home. Not a bed and breakfast. Outside of the property it is filthy. Garbage, yard is not well kept. White plastic stained chairs. The flags that hang outside of the property are ripped and should be replaced. In my country it’s a disgrace to see a flag like that, The unit smells like mould. "Check inn was perfect. The hosts communicated clearly and helped with parking and luggage.The house is clean and well ecuipted.The garden is very nice and the pool is a welcome refeshment.I really recommend this place.Hope we have the chance to come back!"
"The stay is like a retreat. You are surrounded by nature and it's so calm. They have amazing food and self-made products. There are so many fun activities to do so you never get bored! Staff are super friendly, and even animals seem so happy. Really enjoyed the stay!"

"Comfortable Homely Villa set in the Tuscan hills. We enjoyed the views, the relaxing by the pool. Visiting both Lucca & Pisa via the train and Eating in Tuscan restaurants. "
"Stunning area and high location of property means the views are amazing. The house is also nice and was very clean but the utilities seemed tired - fridge light and toaster didn’t work as an example. There was also no seating on the balcony area at all, and no air con meaning all the shutters were down on our arrival and it was just pretty dark and musty. This wouldn’t be an issue if you were travelling in the cooler months.
I had understood that the property is set in 5 acres so had brought ball games for kids to run around but that really wasn’t possible - the land includes steep mountain sides. But if you have older children or just adults, then there’s ample room. There is also a decent size drive, it’s gated and the pool and outdoor area is fantastic. Better than the pictures. It really is a stunning location!!
Finally, just to note that the road to the property is incredibly tight, steep and not for the faint hearted. Our hire car simply couldn’t handle it and we got stuck rendering us parking on the mountain roadside and walking down until we could get back to the airport to hire a more powerful engined car.
Host was easily contactable but not especially friendly or interested in making our stay welcome; ran us around the house in such quick fashion and said she would text us things to do in area but didn’t. A little more welcoming could have gone a long way. Cleaners on the other hand were incredibly nice! "
