"It was so wonderful to be up in the hills of Tuscany and enjoying the outdoors. The house was so charming and historic We were able to walk up to an excellent restaurant in another historic building. As well, it was so close to Lucca and the train station. "Wow, what a stay. We stayed here as a family for a week in May and it was incredible. The views from the villa are unreal and the place itself is gorgeous. Monica is a fabulous host who cooked us a delicious meal on our first night. Her and Giovanni were so welcoming and suggested a beautiful restaurant nearby one evening and even booked it for us. We had a fabulous stay and would highly recommend."

"The spaces are great for larger groups to have space away and privacy for breaks. The pool and outdoor dining area was amazing. As expected, water pressure in these older homes can be inconsistent, but was not a problem. The home is a bit away from major highways, so day trips were a little more local driving, but didn’t limit us. Host family is nearby for support, but non intrusive and very accommodating. We had a wonderful dinner prepared our final night and everything was very hospitable."

It is very close to the gate to the walled city center, literally only minutes away. The accommodations were exactly as described. Checkin/out was very easy and convenient. "We visited Hotel Bologna at the end of our trip arriving just around lunchtime then an overnight stay with breakfast before a late flight the next day. Less than 10 minutes walk from the train station. The reception team could not have been more welcoming, showing us to our room, outlining the and where all of the sights and shops were. Room was comfortable. The breakfast selection was fine, varied and service efficient. We were able to leave our luggage until it was time to go to the airport. Couldn’t ask for more!"
