"Our retreat stay for the weekend far exceeded our expectations! We managed to host a retreat for two nights and all of our guests had an amazing time staying at Michael and Jodi’s home in Beaver Mines. Highly recommend for anyone either hosting an event or just a gateway for the weekend. Would consider coming back again! "

"Scott, the manager-owner was very kind and accommodating. Our van won't start and he tried several times to to boost it. Then, he allowed us to leave it there for free overnight because there was no towing service on Sunday. Good location along the highway and A&W is right next door if you don't care for the complimentary continental breakfast. Would stay there again if in the area. Oh, and he let our pug stay. Really nice guy!"

"The exterior and parking area looked a little dated and in need of maintenance. Had a few misgivings driving in. But our room was excellent. Clean, tidy, attractive and good amenities."

"This is not a review of the property since we not have sufficient information. All we can is our particular room was badly located in a dark corner, next to an unsecured, unlocked room of scrap building material. We asked for another room, This was refused. We asked for and received a refund, and left. "

"The staff were friendly, and the room was clean. I was little nervous based on how old the photos/property looked but after reading a few other reviews about the cleanliness I decided to give it a try. Nothing special about the place but would recommend given the price point + friendly staff."
