"The ocean is not visible unless you are standing in the patio area. The front desk clerk stated that breakfast would be available in the lounge at 7:30 am, when actually it is a continental style meal that is served. The property was clean and well manicured."

"Pros: Ocean views, close to Big Sur and beautiful hikes etc, spacious room, big bed with clean linens, dog friendly, pretty grounds. Cons: Coffee shop not open until 8–but k cups in room if you like that. Didn’t love the restaurant food. Room felt a little motel-y but was large—maybe a little awkwardly large with a huge dated walk in closet w loose shelves. Didn’t realize the living room and kitchens were shared space. Dogs weren’t allowed in those areas either and we traveled with our pup. There was a dead rat on the property our dog was drawn too which was obviously disappointing. "

"This place needs a new makeover. Everything was outdated. The carpet was so dirty and filthy. When you take a shower, the drain is so slow it fills up the tub. The only nice thing is the location and the staff. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I booked a three day stay and left on the second day. 1 star "
