"The property is in a nice location with a river running behind it and nice outside sitting areas so a person can relax and enjoy the view. There are nice sitting areas in the lobby. We were not impressed with the breakfast though. The food was barely warm and no microwave to warm it. The fruit was a little mushy. The coffee was good. It is a very busy time of year and housekeeping is kept busy cleaning rooms for newcomers so those staying a few nights don't get much attention."

"The room was clean and comfortable! I didn't have much interaction with the staff other than checking in and out but they were friendly and informative. We were part of a Backroads cycling trip so we bought our own breakfast and coffee from the Cafe. Coffee was great and yogurt parfait too. We enjoyed cocktails in the bar area in the evening, great ambiance! Loved Whitefish."

"Beautiful surroundings .. lots of exposure to nature (birds, squirrels, chipmunks, deer) .. nice place for corn hole in the backyard.Plenty of room for people to spread out and have their own space. We used the upstairs as the gameroon and reading area."

"We stayed here for 4 nights at the start of our trip to Montana. It is a really lovely property in a great location. We liked that it was located in a quiet wooded area but not remote and only 5 mins from the centre of Whitefish. The beds were comfortable and the air con was good. The kitchen was not the best equipped that we have stayed in but the essentials were there. We liked the large outdoor table where we sat for dinner. The property could be greatly improved with the addition of some comfortable seating on the outdoor terrace."

"4/5 StarsOverall, this is a very nice home, and we enjoyed our stay. The property was exceptionally clean, well maintained, and exactly as described. I would absolutely recommend it to others.A few things kept it from being a 5-star experience. The layout is a bit unusual for larger groups. While there are three bathrooms, one is inside a master bedroom, so our group of 10 adults was effectively sharing two bathrooms. The large recreation room (converted garage) was great gathering space but has no sink or running water. The kitchen is massive, but surprisingly lacks prep space for cooking meals for a large group. Also, the kitchen is up about 16 stairs, which could be a challenge for older guests.Cell service is essentially nonexistent, making the Starlink internet invaluable. However, Wi-Fi coverage was inconsistent in some areas of the house and property.Finally, the host mentioned bears in the area, but the garbage cans were not bear-resistant and were not emptied during our stay. With 12 adults, we had to store some trash inside to avoid attracting wildlife.Plan on bringing paper towels, toilet paper, simple spices for cooking, trash bags. The host provided minimal items and the only spices were salt and pepper. There were ample plates and cups etc.Despite these issues, this is a solid rental that was clean, comfortable, and enjoyable. With a few improvements, it could easily earn 5 stars."
