Cozy historic log cabin in downtown Talkeetna with WiFi

"We had a great stay. Everything was within walking distance, and the cabin was very comfortable. Shannon even met us at the train station and gave us a ride to the cabin. Truly a cozy cabin with a comfy bed, good blackout shades, hot shower, sink and microwave."

"Perfect little weekend getaway. I was not staying as part of a cruise, but the cruise vibe made the stay feel so much more relaxing. I was still welcomed with a smile and the staff at the property were super friendly. The food was decent, a bit on the pricier side, but understandable given the location. The rooms were a bit dated but still comfortable. Overall, it was a great experience and I’d likely go back if I was headed back up north."

"The hosts were very responsive to all my questions. Even before traveling we were in cabin six and it is a beautiful gorgeous view cabin. I knew it was a mountain view cabin but I did not know that the mountains are something I can view from my cabin deck. I could view Mount McKinley and the other two mountains really clearly right from my cabin deck and my window so it was one of the best views we had, even as compared to Denali National Park when we were there. It's a gorgeous cabin. I'd highly recommend people who love views to pick this cabin and stay. The cabin inside is a little older but they've kept it very clean and nice. For us to stay one night with my family was very comfortable. I would recommend people to stay here. The host also offers breakfast in the morning, a light continental breakfast that also worked great for us. The only thing is that it is around five miles away from the main Talkeetna downtown. We had a car so it did not matter to us but if you did not have a car then reaching downtown for any food would be difficult."
