"If you’re looking for a resort that curates and customizes to your every need this is the resort for you. The rooms are immaculate, the service is out of this world, by the second day every person knew the names of our party, their drink preferences, food allergies . I never heard the word NO from the staff, whether it be breakfast for dinner, or custom meals, it was only if we have the ingredients we will make it for you. When my bags did not show up at the airport, the staff went out of their way to pick me up clothing to get me through the interim. My daughter got sick the staff picked up the medication, and made special arrangements to get it to her. I have been to many five star resorts in Cancun, Dominican, Costa Rica, Cabo San Lucas, and I have never had an experience that was better. This is not the largest resort, they create intimate unique experiences for each group in a beautiful environment with a passion and love for their guests. I can’t wait to visit again."

"Loved having everything in the room & on the property. From bottle opener & to delicious well prepared meals onsite. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean & well equipped. The hotel is about 45 minutes away from downtown via golf cart but I planned accordingly and enjoyed onsite and nearby amenities. Front desk main staffer. I cannot remember his name but he guided and helped on every topic, even prior to arrival! He was the best & I’m sorry I cannot remember his name. He made our stay phenomenal."

"We loved our stay at the dock house. Isis made the very best meals. Henry and Isis were very attentive to our needs and didn’t stay distant but we became friends! We felt very safe. The sea had sargassum - thanks for your honesty in the dock house info about possibly having sargassum- so it was great to have the pool. Henry even got a private snorkeling guide out to the dock to pick us up and we never had to drive some where to a tour guide. Wow!! Thank you, Max, for being easy to contract and helpful in adjusting our stay time. Thanks again to everyone who made our stay amazing!"
North Beach Retreat

"The staff at the hotel are outstanding, super helpful, and Norman in particular is a real all-star. The main issue is something pretty outside their control: the beach outside the hotel is covered with a giant mass of stinking seaweed. This plagues just about all places in the area, but everyone traveling there should be aware that this is an issue. But the staff are awesome. They cook us a lovely breakfast every morning and they show us beaches on other parts of the island. Well done Norman!"

"We rented the entire resort. Iz and the entire staff was amazing. His bar, El Norte, was on the property and a lot of fun. The on-site chef is an amazing cook and brought the food to your villa or bar. The onsite excursion guide, David, was top notch. We were very pleased with his service and helpful information. I would recommend this resort if you want a very peaceful environment."

"This was a truly amazing spot. This is like a sanctuary for your body and soul. The hosts, Iz and his wife were terrific. The staff was so attentive and kind. BEST food in the entire country. Stop looking everywhere else, this is the only spot to stay in Belize to ensure you have a perfect trip! Couldn’t have dreamt of a more perfect location or experience. Surrounded by beach, ocean and natural environment, tucked away, yet convenient..a little piece of heaven on earth."

"10/10 would recommend this place to anyone! The property was massive. The villa was beautiful. The grounds crew cleared the seaweed from the beach and raked the sand, daily. Everyone that worked there was friendly. The concierge, Terri, was very helpful. The nearby restaurants were great (El Norte, Tranquility, Moon bar, Casa Alegre). It was a bit of a trek from the city (40 minutes by golf cart), but not too secluded like some spots further north. It’s perfect for anyone that wants a comfortable stay while exploring all of Ambergris Caye."
