"In wild woodland with lots of interesting birds an animals. Staff are totally relaxed, friendly and very helpful. Of interest is the world’s largest medieval dovecote. "We only stayed one night , but the staff was very friendly and the room was very nice, clean, etc. The only complaint we had was the lack of hot water for the shower. Here of us had to take a barely lukewarm shower. Not fun. "On arrival the hotel said they did not have the room i booked. I sat down and started to look for a diifferent hotel on my phone.. Then they said they did have a room. I should not have accepted it as when i got into bed it was full of hairs and dirty pillows. "I was there in the off season so it was very quite. And I did not have a car. So if you are looking for a great beach location to relax this is the place but I could see in the busy season it could be very busy.
