"The staff friendly. The room we stayed in was very small and weird. No closet just hooks on the wall. Room service never came to clean our room. And the check in desk is on the 13th floor. Honestly would not stay there again. "

"Everything about the hotel was fine, the check-in process was ridiculous, we showed up at 4:30 an hour and a half after check-in, and had to wait about an hour to get our rooms. Every time we asked we were told the same thing, they just need 20 minutes more. They were severely shortstaffed all around, however outside of the check-in process everybody was very friendly. They only had one person helping with breakfast which was ridiculous based on the size of the hotel. She was running around working as hard as she could and stayed very professional and polite, but could not keep up with the demands of dozens of guests in a very small breakfast area with equipment that did not hold up to the size of the hotel. I don’t blame the staff I blame whoever owns this for not investing or hiring enough to keep up with it. The location was amazing, the hotel was in great shape , the only issue with short staffing and incompetent staff."

"We were very disappointed in our stay this past weekend. Our room was terrible, the chair was stained, the lampshade was stained, the table was beat up, and the room had an awful smell to it. We were in and out of Charlotte for the weekend, and had a very busy itinerary, otherwise I would’ve tried to raise the concern and tried to get another room. I have heard that as an Expedia customer there are sometimes a few options in this area. But, I cannot recommend. The ceiling was peeling, the wallpaper was peeling. I took plenty of pictures, but in the end we just had to meet our obligations in the city for the weekend"
