"The house was as described and served the purpose of a relaxing get away. There are a lot of stairs, so just be aware of that. The house seemed cleaned for the most part except for two dead water bugs in the bathroom and there was an area on the kitchen table that wasn't completely wiped or cleaned off. With that said, I grew up coming to this beach and the dead bugs could have happened after the cleaners left and the dirty part of the kitchen table may have been debris from the cleaners cleaning materials. Overall, the house was as described and clean for the most part. Thank you for letting us stay with you."

"While I understand that paper items would not be included. I believe at the very least one roll of toilet paper could be at the property when guests arrive. I can promise you rarely do people stop at a store or travel with paper products. However the first thing g they do is use the restroom when they have arrived at their destination."

"As a family who enjoys to cook and have meals together at the beach, this is the house for you!Stories by the Sea is one of the most well-stocked homes in terms of kitchen utensils, gadgets, pots, and pans. We successfully cooked breakfasts, lunches, and dinners for 12 in this house without needing to bring in anything additional (we regularly travel with pots, pans, and knives due to previous houses severely lacking basic kitchen needs). Not only was the kitchen well-stocked, but the house had beach gear available for use too - chairs, games, etc. The location on Topsail is convenient to Surf City and local gems like Andrews Produce, Topsail Steamer, and the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue & Rehabilitation Center. Being right on the beach with an accessible boardwalk made it easy for family members to come and go as they pleased. The water hose ensured we were not tracking in a lot of sand into the house. The house is a duplex but we did not hear our neighbors at all. Stories by the Sea was comfortable. Clean sheets and bath towels were provided upon arrival and bedrooms and shared spaces had been recently cleaned. Ample parking was available. This is a house we will definitely rebook!"
