"I consider it risky to venture away from the known chain hotels, but I struck gold with this one! This was a very unique stay. It resembles a motel but doors do open to an interior hall full of antiques. We were greeted by chickens as we came out in the morning. Beds are very comfy, with soft, fuzzy blankets like home. Rooms were spotless and staff was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. There is no breakfast, but fridge in the room and access to a microwave. Rooms are decorated with the type of wood they are named after. Very comfy, welcoming, homey feel."

"We were so happy to find this property while in the area for our son’s track meet. It was a wonderfully planned and decorated space and had everything we needed. Jerry was great at communicating all the details prior to our stay and check in/out was a piece of cake. We would definitely stay here again! "

"This house was beautiful on the inside and outside. It was spacious and it held the 7 of us easily. We loved the open layout. The yard was amazing. We saw rabbits in the yard daily hopping around. The host was communicative and the check in/out was very easy. We had a great stay and would return again if we were to come back to Springfield."
