"Stayed here for almost two weeks and couldn’t have picked a better spot. Villa Princi was clean, quiet, and really comfortable. Easy to get around and in a great location for exploring both Calabria and Sicily. I actually spent the first 5 days driving around Sicily.
The host was incredibly helpful. She gave me dining tips, pointed me to legit olive oil spots, and had some nice pastries and even some eggs if requested. Breakfast was perfect for me.

"Stayed here for one night. Grounds are very pretty and hotel is based on the side of quite a steep hill so quite a lot of stairs and ramps. There are some lifts to parts of property but not all and they are in odd locations, for example one led to a pitch black banquet hall that you needed to pass through. "We arrived about 1-1.5 hours ahead of checkin and they were able to accommodate us which was nice. The checkin staff was friendly and our room was beautiful with space and a jacuzzi shower which was a plus. Our room was only stocked with 2 pillows so when we requested 2 more, they were brought up with speed. That being said, the pillows and bed were flat. That’s something we’ve come to notice is very common in Italy so although we didn’t enjoy that, it’s all preference. What we really didn’t like was how loud it was at all hours. The doors are so heavy we could hear people going in and out of their room until about 1AM. Then it sounded like the room next to us was playing musical chairs. It was very difficult to sleep as the rooms aren’t sound proof. Also our room wouldn’t cool below 19 degrees Celsius. My boyfriend ate at the restaurant and said it was good and the continental breakfast was a nice, easy spread. It’s also great that this location is Nextdoor to a food mart, china mart, and gas station. There is also a laundry mat within a mile. "
