"The first night I was awakened by people yelling in a stairwell at midnight. they advertised this place as soundproof and it is not. then there's a new building going up next door to it and there's all this noise during the day from construction. The third night I woke up again to people yelling in the stairwell. I went downstairs after that and said can I please have a room higher up so it wouldn't be so noisy. they don't have it. they only rent out the apartments on the first floor. everything above that are residences. they offered me another room on the same floor but that doesn't solve the problem because all the noise is the same. also the person next door was vomiting profusely at 5: 00am and I could hear that. since I felt I couldn't get away from the noise, I decided to leave and go to another place. The manager wasn't in that day. she doesn't speak any English. The guy at the bar speaks some English. so communication is a real problem at this place. went back the next day. the manager is not there again. she's hardly ever there. went back the second day and she told me she wasn't giving me a refund via email. I reported them to hotels.com about their false advertising. it's not soundproof, you don't get a coffee tea hot pot. I asked for one. I never got it. I never saw the ironing board. that too is also listed as an amenity. I do not recommend these apartments. they're noisy. there's a bar downstairs on the the ground floor adding to noise."

"Beautiful hotel with all the facilities you’d want, rooftop pool and parking is a massive advantage of the hotel. Best sunsets we’ve seen! Gorgeous staff, super helpful and couldn’t do enough for you - special mention to Claudia at reception and Armando and Rico on the service team - Thanks for a really special stay. The bed was huge and room quiet and comfortable. Only room for improvement were some more allergy friendly bedding options (I’m allergic to feathers) and vegan food options at the breakfast buffet. The staff did help with adjustments within their gift which was appreciated. Can’t recommend Glow enough (ps, get the sea view room, it’s worth it!)"

"We came originally for a friend’s wedding in Tirana, but decided to do a little vacation for ourselves, since we came to Albania. The drive was spectacular, Albania and the roads scenery are absolutely gorgeous. However since it’s our first time in Albania we noticed that a lot of buildings were unfinished throughout the country. We were pleasantly surprised that Sarande Palace was an exception, the building is situated towards the end of the boulevard which gives the most beautiful sunset view and quietness, as the busy section of Sarande is very noisy. Ory - the receptionist went above and beyond to make sure our stay was pleasant and perfect. She seriously runs the place and cares for the service they provide to guests. Ory gave us tips and recommendations for pretty much anything we asked, she even offered laundry and dry cleaning services if needed. The pool was clean and big, they have plenty of beds and cabanas available for guests in the beach area. The restaurant and the bars provided very good food and cocktails. The service was on a high level and the prices were competitive. The view from room balcony was spectacular. The rooms were clean, updated and thoughtfully furnished. If you are going to Sarande book this hotel, it’s worth every penny and you would have an amazing time and beautiful memories. Five stars hands down. Thank you, Ory and Sarande Palace team. "
