"We arrived late around 9pm from driving all day, the check in is through a machine you have to type in your reservation in a computer and it was fine just a lot extra to do, the rooms smelled like cigarettes, toilet very loud and we could hear everyone around us! "Basic at best. Location is on the outskirts of town in a petrol station. Bit of a walk (15min) into the town. Breakfast was really poor. There was no lighting as overhead lights had failed. (I did see people working on them the previous night, but obviously did not fix them). We had cycled from London to Paris. No bike storage, but staff said we could keep them stored in a conference room downstairs. "

"This is essentially a motel in Villers and as far as motels go, it was fine. The bedding and towels were clean but the room could not be called well-maintained otherwise. There were plenty of insects outside the doors and along the corridors. The fire alarm in another unit went off at 6:00 AM during my stay and remained blaring for around 10 minutes, though I cannot say whether this was actually the establishment's fault or whether the occupant was culpable. As far as staying in Villers, this is a reasonable option for a short stay."

"There was extensive roadwork outside the hotel that went on until 7 pm and resumed at 4 am. The room should have been reduced accordingly. Further, there was an overpowering smell of scented spray that kept being reapplied everywhere on the hotel. I was able to air out the room but had to roll up a towel to keep it from entering from under the door. Otherwise, it's a nice place with a river view."
