The White Desert (about 3,000 square kilometres) is unique in various aspects and details that make it one of the most special and unique shrines among nature reserves. It is the kingdom of white par excellence, day and night, as it is covered with white sand, limestone and chalk rocks, unique geological formations and fossil remains, and the moon’s rays are reflected in the evening on its bright white land. Some of its rocks, due to their unique composition, also store sunlight during the day and rebroadcast it at night, in a complete simulation of what the moon itself does.

Everything is legendary in the White Desert. The huge, rare chalk rocks are not just rocks, but giant, plastic sculptures that colonise the void, carved by the creative hand of nature. There is the rock that is in the shape of a bird, that is in the shape of an animal, that resembles a “Sphinx” statue, that resembles a human being, that mimics a tree, and that becomes a canopy under which
