Look across the rugged, boulder-strewn coast and the wild sea, we will consider the early seafarers who braved this coast in their small wooden vessels.
We travel there and back via different scenic routes and enjoy the sweeping views of Overberg’s wide plains, beautiful passes, and one of South Africa’s most spectacular coastal roads. We may find our national bird, the endangered Blue Crane on the way. We lunch at a farm kitchen.
We tour at an easy, relaxed pace, with time to stop and enjoy each place. It is a way to spend valuable time well and to taste, smell, explore and listen.”
