A bit tired in places

Posted 26-Mar-2015
Pros: Proximity to the town.
Cons: Decor in the room and landings, noise from the other rooms. Also a cheaper breakfast and room rate to match the standard of accommodation.
Location: Near to central town and bars. Close enough to the Direct Arena to walk.
The downstairs area appeared pleasant enough but the upstairs, landings and room were a bit tired. Not as good looking as the promotion shots on-line. Very noisy room due to hearing everything from the next room's toilet - not pleasant. Also an awful noise from the plumbing that actually was so loud it rattled the tea cups! The night staff gentleman was not very customer friendly. When asked after returning to the hotel if the bar was still open at around 2mins to 12pm just to have a night cap, he sort of grunted and abruptly said no it was shut - a "sorry it's a little late" would have sufficed! On a positive - the hotel is in a good position in relation to town, bars and the station. The beds were also comfy.

Central

Posted 17-Feb-2015
Pros: The bar was nice
Unfortunately the bed was so small that I fell out of it four times in the night not mentioning bashing my elbow on the bedside cabinet. My partner was facing a wall which meant waking me up when he wanted to go to the loo! Its great if you like the sauna while sleeping but was bit too hot for us! Breakfast finished at 10 on Sunday and they really do mean it as ran out of cooked food by then!

Good budget option in central Leeds

Posted 28-Jan-2015
A good hotel at a decent price. Close to Leeds station and the main shopping area is two minutes walk away. Offers a good menu and overall is everything you need for a couple of nights leisure or business on a limited budget.

Very good value for money.

Posted 23-Jan-2015
Pros: Not a bland standard hotel. There was a bar and restaurant, which was useful for dinner and breakfast.
Cons: The only let down was that we were unable to get the shower to work.
Location: Great if you like shopping, I'm sure there would be lots to do, but the weather & time was against us.
We booked the hotel for our visit to see Queen at the First Direct Arena. It was well placed, near the station and walking distance to the arena.

Warm welcome at check-in with a glass of wine handed over with room key - nice touch. Good location for train station and good restaurants and bars nearby. Would stay again for the price we paid :)

Close to the Center

Posted 18-Dec-2014
Pros: Nice as warm, I stayed in December so was lovely to walk in out of the cold. Clean stylish rooms. Nice free complementaries.
Cons: Have vending machine downstairs. I was super thirsty late at night and I despise tap water so it would have been nice to go and get a bottle of water.
Location: 2 minuet walk from the train station. walk up the road and youre at Trinity Walk. Close to the center.
It is literally close to everything, 2 minuet walk from the train station, Trinity Walk is just up the road. It was super easy to find and i would defiantly stay here again. Bed could have fitted 7 people in.

2 nights in Leeds

Posted 11-Dec-2014
Pros: Location and value
Cons: Wifi, it states free wifi which it is, but its so slow & didn't connect much of the time. I choose my hotels based upon wifi access so won't be back
Location: Great city centre location
I wanted a hotel close to the train station, and it was only a short walk, and easy to find. The reception and restaurant looked nice on arrival, and check-in was easy enough. My room was on the 3rd floor and right round the side of the hotel. The room (328) was quite small but sufficient and overlooked another hotel. There was a small road or rat run between the two, which was incredibly noisy at night time with the sound of bins being emptied and cars racing through. If you want peace and quiet this room is no good!!! The breakfast was a buffet, with all the expected items and they will do eggs to your choice if you ask. I didn't eat in the restaurant due to the massive choice all around.

Xmas shopping break

Posted 09-Dec-2014 on Hotels.com
Rooms were nice. Booked knowing it would be a small double. It was very small and every time my partner moved was jabbed by the bedside cabinet corner. Room had been updated but bathroom woodwork hadn't been painted. Silly little thing to notice but it was yellow.

Sentral og greit hotell.

Posted 05-Dec-2014 on Hotels.com
Hotellet ligger sentralt til, like ved g├ągaten i Leeds sentrum. Det er kort vei til togstasjonen. Hotellet er litt slitt, men rommet var stort og sengene gode.
