Under massive construction

Posted 30-Jun-2015
Pros: Location Easy to walk to shopping and restaurants and the subway We did subway to train to airport
Cons: We could , have told there wraps massive construction going on We wouldn't have gone there
Location: Subway close Restaurants and shopping all with walking distance
We got one of the old rooms, no ac and the shower handle was broken and never fixed Virtual no lobby due to construction of hotel , couldn't open the window because of the white dust . There was no where to wait for our families We had to wait for employees to use the one elevator they had we were not offered anything to compensate , no complimentary breakfast , nothing!!

Hübsches kleines Stadthotel!

Posted 29-Jun-2015
Location: Oper, Louvre, Palais Royal, Metro-Stationen

Total renovation in progress

Posted 28-Jun-2015
Pros: This will probably be a nice hotel when the renovations are complete.
Cons: This hotel was under total construction and should not be having any guests at this time.
Location: Near subway
We almost passed up our hotel because the name of the hotel was not really visible due to the white chalky paint over the name. When we walked into the lobby of our hotel, we were assaulted with the deafening noise of hammers and construction. There was one small elevator for the entire hotel that held 4 people .When we checked in ,it was being used to bring down all the dirty linens! There were holes in the wall going up the stairway which we had to use quite often. When we got to our floor, there were workers painting the hallway. The room itself was nice since they had completed the renovation of our room but it smelled horribly of paint and the view outside our window was scaffolding and piles of trash. There were wet paint signs in the hall. There's was no lobby to relax in and only a makeshift area for having a $19.00 breakfast. We were traveling with my sister and her husband and their floor still had the old stained carpet and their room had no air conditioning. They had to open their window for relief from the heat but there were piles of trash and scaffolding outside so the smell was unpleasant. The morning we checked out the smoke alarms went off and we had to quickly dress and leave. The hotel staff said someone was smoking in a room. They were moving in dozens of beds as we were checking out. The hotel said that Expedia was aware of the construction in progress, I intend to follow up on that! I would have preferred to pay twice as much for a nice room!

vicino allo shopping e vicino metrò

Posted 21-Jun-2015
Pros: Pur essendo in ristrutturazione silenzioso e pulito
Cons: Non ho rilevato negatività
Location: Vicino Druot(casa d'aste) e Follie Bergeres
Essendo vicino ad Opera e Bistrot di ottimo livello, L'intorno è interessane ,pieno di negozi ,La Fayette ecc.

being refurbished

Posted 19-Jun-2015
Cons: honesty in the listing as it is being refurbished.
Hotel is being refurbished and as this was a deal where I did not know the identity of the hotel before booking it there was no way to check. The first floor rooms are very old and shabby with no water pressure or working Air con. The 5th floor is brand new and very nice. Once I moved rooms to the 5th floor it was very good. Staff friendly and efficient, can't comment about the food as didn't eat there.

Good location and has potential

Posted 16-Jun-2015
Unfortunately the hotel is undergoing major refurbishment until October 2015. Therefore there wasn't much of a hotel to see. The staff struggled to be helpful working in very limited conditions. I am sure when it is completed it will be worth another try. Until then, if you dont mind staying in a dark room to shut out the sight of scaffolding, which blocked any light to be had anyway, then it was fine as a place to lay your head.

Building Site

Posted 16-Jun-2015
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Close the hotel while it is a building site.
Location: Find another hotel.
The hotel was a building site. I don't mean renovations, I mean a noisy, dirty, dusty building site and the staff pretending that everything is normal...a surreal experience.

Hotel under construction; room A/C woefully insufficient. Incredibly hot rooms.
