Excellent location

Posted 30-Jun-2014
Pros: Location, breakfast
Cons: Communication.
Location: Louvre and Metro to all sights
No drawer space for clothes We asked the on-duty staff person to make dinner reservations on Mon., Tues, and Wed.;we received no confirmation for any of them. On Mon. and Tues, we were expected at the restaurants when we arrived. On Wed., we were told at La Regelade that we had no reservation and they could not seat us so we had to find another restaurant. Thurs. a.m. we asked why we had no reservation and were told that "they were full, but would try to squeeze us in." If we had known this at the outset, we would have made other plans for Wed. dinner. This was very embarrassing and inconvenient. Hotel location is excellent. Breakfast was very good and b'fast staff excellent.

Good place just to sleep.

Posted 17-Jun-2014
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: None, Basic Hotel
Location: In the edge of the Rue St Honore the main shopping street in Paris. Close to Le Louvre Museum, and within walking distance from major attractions.
The hotel like main of such small hotels is too tight and cramped. Rooms are very small. It is a place that you use just to sleep. Location is good right on main shopping street and close to the Louvre Museum.

Excellent location great staff

Posted 02-Jun-2014
Pros: Location and staff
Cons: Elevator
Location: One block from the Louve, Rue de Rivoli walking distance from the Plaza of Concordia, Pont Alexander,Opera, lots of restaurants and shops.
The hotel is situated in an excellent location in Paris, the staff is very professional and extremely helpful. A small detail is that the elevator is extremely small, I had to go up first with the two suite cases then my wife with the carryon because we didn't fit. The bathroom was a god size and comfortable the room very clean bed is very comfortable the size was Ok. Since you don't spend that much time in the hotel the stay was pleasant the location excellent

Great Location Meets Great Employees

Posted 09-Jan-2014 on Hotels.com
The location is phenomenal, close to everything and the Metro is around the corner as well. Food choices are great as well in the immediate area with a mix of cheaper meals and some nice places if you want to indulge a little bit. The staff at the front desk gets big kudos from me because they helped me day in and out with finding places to go and food and their recommendations were spot on! Room was very clean and the bathroom was huge for a European hotel which is great! Breakfast here is a bit steep as well as the cost of the items in the mini fridge. I would stay away from touching anything in there! 1 bottle of water was 5 euros, you can get the same bottle of water next block over for less than 1 euro at the convenience shops. I would recommend to stock up on snacks and water on the first day so you don't have to touch the fridge.

Great Paris hotel near the Louvre

Posted 26-Dec-2013 on Hotels.com
I was working in Paris, near the Louvre for one day, and needed a hotel close by. This hotel was in a great location, close to Les Halles metro station, and a 5 minute walk from the Louvre itself. The street was lovely, not to much traffic, and the hotel itself was nice - nicely decorated for Christmas and staff were friendly. The only downside was that I was 'upgraded' to a deluxe room, but it was on the ground floor and was a little noisy as many people passed by on their way back to their rooms. But overall a good quality, good location hotel.

Vest location for museum goers.

Posted 25-Oct-2013
Pros: Location, location, location
Cons: Some staff need to be more friendly.
Location: Best location for museum goers
Since we were there to visit museums only during the stay, the location was very good. 2blocks away from the Louvre and other main art museums. We could not control the temperature of the room and had to open the window to the patio. Even though the room was non smoking smell of cigaret came in through windows. The staff was not helpful when we had trouble how to operate the shower properly.
