The hotel is wonderful , nice Administration and well educated reception staff . they are so wonderful young extremely pretty ladies. who speak very good English , which is something so needed for anyone visiting Ukraine and doesn't know the language. The hotel if well designed. nice breakfast , it is a little expensive but worth it . the only thing that i didn't like is the not free "Shuttle".
This is a really pretty hotel with large, clean, classily-decorated rooms, many of which have little balconies, which is a nice touch. The staff is beyond helpful. Also, I saw the complaints about the hot water and such in other reviews -- but I had zero problems. Only thing that's up for question is the location: In the Podil district, which is this great, bohemian part of the city where real people live, but it isn't downtown in the thick of official buildings, etc. It's about an eight-minute walk to the metro, which will get you anywhere in town really quick (only two or three stops from the center of town/transfer stops, depending on where you're headed) for dirt cheap (2 hryvnia, which is less than 20 cents).
The hotel part is only on the 3rd floor. The rest of the 22 stories are condos. Very convenient location, 1/4 mile from subway, McDonalds and grocery store. And a great little Italian restaurant we found with great prices about another 1/4 mile up from McDonalds on opposite side of street.
Nice hotel and good staff which is unusual for the Ukraine and Eastern Europe.
It is a new hotel so perhaps things will deteriorate and the prices will increase after the bedding process is complete. Location good ... lots of cafe's and local life.

This hotel is close to most major attractions in the heart of Kyiv. You will have to ignore the dug up street right in front of it, but there is not much they could do with all the road construction around. Taxi drivers will navigate the street no problem.
The hotel is in a freshly renovated beautiful old building. It's very quiet, which is highly unusual for a busy city like Kyiv, so you will sleep like a baby. Each room has a climate control unit, which is also very quiet, unlike those noisy A/C units we are used to in US. Rooms are small (this is Europe after all), but well appointed and very comfortable.
Staff is friendly and knowledgeable and food is great. I'll definitely be coming back.
Very good hotel. Good staff
I just happen to stay in this hotel for my birthday and the staff found out this and left a bottle of wine and note in my room :-) Will stay there again. Excellent all round.

Stayed at Igorivska appartment for 7 days (reserved for 4 and then extended). Appartment is on top floor of 9-story building in historic Podol where most buildings are low rise. View from the window is magnificent. Condition of appartment is good (kitchen sink needs some improvement). Bathroom is spacious (much bigger than most hotels). Room was cleaned regularly with towels and bed sheets replaced. TV and Wi-Fi worked great. Hotel managment was responsive and nice. Unlike typical Ukrainian business all calls and emails are answered. Optional Airport pickup was a big plus. There are many great restaurants and coffee houses in the walking distance. You can reach historic Kiev Landmarks and Dnieper River within 5-20 minutes walk.
With current Kiev's situation when well known hotel brands are overprised and typical alternative is cheap dirty post-soviet dumps Igorivska is the best choise.

I picked this hotel for its location (convenient both to downtown and to several public transportation lines). The hotel itself is impeccably kept and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Great breakfast too.
