good budget hotel

Posted 09-Nov-2014
Cons: perhaps a small map of area could be provided at reception.
Location: As previously stated, hotel is hard to find. However, when you sort that out, it is close to city centre, night markets, beach and entertainment areas
The first thing to know about this hotel is that it is difficult to find, both for taxi drivers and travellers. Indeed the first night I stayed there, I become disorientated after walking around the city area and had to rely on the help of a local good Samaritan to get me back to the hotel on the back of a bike. The room itself is above budget classification. Soaps, shampoos etc... are provided. My room caught a lot of afternoon sun, but the air con worked well, and there are shaded curtains to block the heat. There is a small balcony for each room. A nice touch was the provided towels being structured into a different bird shape every day by the cleaning staff. Staff were effective, but unobtrusive. Overall, I thought it was a tad expensive for what the hotel delivers. However, if you are looking for a room where everything works, including good water pressure, then the Baan Nilrath delivers.

Clean, stylish hotel in excellent, location

Posted 21-Apr-2014
Pros: On-site owner/manager as attentive as staff. Everything worked ! Very clean. Good location between railway station and 'downtown' / beach area.
Cons: Nothing of any import.
Location: Restaurant, bars , beach, transport, night market, all within short walking distance.
Booked 3 night stay Apr 2014. Lovely walk-in shower and nice stylish touches. Wi-fi good, decent roof-top pool, sun lounge area. Buffet breakfast good enough considering hotel size and cost of stay. Repairs going on to pool area but better it is done immediately and off-season. My bad luck, but not complaining. Overall very good value for money, and will book again on next visit.

Good budget accommodation in Hua Hin

Nice clean hotel. Good location. Good facilities and nice breakfast. Lots of helpful staff who make you feel welcome from check-in to check-out. Beds too hard for my liking but that's me being picky.
