Nice clean hotel close to station

Posted 16-Apr-2015
We booked this hotel for the Brighton marathon weekend as it was mid way from the marathon start and finish points. We came by car but found that it was very close to the train station. So next year we will take the train! Parking is a public car park just down the road. The hotel can get you 50% dicount on parking (still £12/ day) but beware, the discount is for 24 hours max, then you'll be charged at normal rate starting at £4/ hour so you'll have to move your car every day! The hotel was modern, very clean and good for the price. We'll be booking again.

Zentral gelegen, dennoch ruhig

Posted 12-Apr-2015

Convenient location near Brighton Station

Posted 06-Apr-2015
Pros: Very close to Brighton Station but not at all noisy. The family room was huge and very clean. It was very quiet where we were on the 8th floor.
Cons: I did not agree with the policy of charging to store two very small pieces of hand baggage at a cost of £2 per item
Location: Just a couple of minutes from Brighton railway station and a short walk to the shopping centre and restaurants.
Overnight stay with teenage daughter. Not sure what to expect from this budget hotel as had previously stayed elsewhere. Very pleasantly surprised and intend to stay there again later in the year.

ibis brighton

Posted 14-Mar-2015
Pros: Clean Close to Train Station
Cons: Staff who understood English we had trouble communicating. They got my name completely wrong on their website despite me writing it down for them.
Location: Close to shops and Station and a 10-15 walk to beach.
Stayed at the Ibis for one night only, Had to wait to book in because we arrived before 2pm. Room was very clean and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Very basic hotel and probably would not stay there again. Parking is a big issue in Brighton so had to get my husband to drop me at hotel and he had to drive around while I asked hotel where we should park. They advised us to park two roads away in a NCP car park which charge £25 for 24 hrs, however the hotel have an arrangement where you only pay £12.00, You should consider this when travelling to Brighton as some hotels offer on site parking for free. This hotel is well positioned for the station and only a short walk to the sea and shops.
