  • Cancun All inclusive holidays

Follow the trail of the Mayans all the way to Cancun, which they named the 'nest of snakes', as you make the most of your all-inclusive holiday to Cancun to explore the ancient and modern sights of Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula. If you're staying in the main hotel district, you should be within easy reach of Las Ruinas del Rey, one of the Mayan sites that can be seen on foot, so be sure not to miss out on a visit to 'El Rey', as it is known. El Casillo, the 'castle' of El Meco to the north of Cancun, is also a great location, and its stepped pyramid offers great views from the top.

    A sunken world of art

If you enjoy scuba diving, Cancun has a unique attraction in the form of MUSA, the Cancun Underwater Museum. Inspired by the local population, the museum's three underwater galleries contain around 500 sculptures designed to look like locals. It's more than just a quirky way to get in some extra diving time - you're also helping the environment when you visit the artificial galleries of the museum, as it helps to reduce the intrusion of tourists into the natural reefs that can also be found along the coastline.

    Caribbean Cancun

On the subject of that coastline, Cancun is found in south-east Mexico, but on the north-east coast of the Yucatan. That means its coast takes in part of the Caribbean Sea, and the currents around the peninsula should ensure a water temperature of 26°C in the winter months - even when the land temperatures drop to about 24°C. In summer, it can be 30°C and above on land, while the waters will be a little cooler at about 29°C.

    Why travel all-inclusive to Cancun?

Cancun is a paradise for lovers of hot weather. Its highs can reach up to about 37C and its waters are cooling in summer, warming in winter, and relatively warm in their own right all year round. Diving conditions are great, and it's not hard to see why this is a destination favoured by visitors from the USA, including during the cooler conditions of spring break. When you go on all-inclusive holidays to Cancun, you get all of those natural benefits, along with the option to explore the architecture and archaeology on land, with a fairly fixed budget - no need to worry about food and drink costs, as they are already covered.

Why choose an all-inclusive holiday to Cancun?

A cheap all-inclusive holiday to Cancun has many benefits, but the greatest has to be the way it allows you to completely relax and enjoy every moment of your holiday in the sun. As everything is already taken care of you don’t have to worry about accommodation, food and drink costs adding up, leaving you free to explore this gorgeous area of Mexico. Whether you are interested in exploring the fascinating history of the Mayan civilization or prefer to chill out on the beach an all-inclusive holiday has it all taken care of.
