Description

Unravel the little-known tale of Oz—long before Dorothy’s arrival—in this mesmerising performance of Wicked. Based on the best-selling novel by Gregory Maguire, this show follows Glinda the Good and the Wicked Witch of the West on their journey to friendship, love, power and truth.

Discover how the green-skinned, smart, fiery and often misunderstood Elphaba, and the beautiful and well-liked Glinda meet at Shiz University in the Land of Oz. Through a seemingly unfortunate accommodation allocation, the unlikely pair slowly form a strong friendship—tested over time by love, rivalry and politics.

Whimsical sets and fantastical costumes transport you to the Emerald City. Jaw-dropping special effects pull you to the edge of your seat as you witness unbelievable feats like Elphaba taking off on her broomstick and Glinda transcending above the stage from within her silver bubble.

A spectacular soundtrack featuring timeless, well-loved songs including “Popular”, “Defying Gravity” and “I’m Not That Girl” complete this touching and unforgettable three-time Tony Award®-winning production.
