Gringotts Wizarding Bank
Lined by towering marble pillars, the grand banking hall is decorated with three magnificent crystal chandeliers and finished with real brass leaf. Inkwells, quills, ledgers and piles of Galleons, Sickles and Knuts complete the goblin tellers’ desks as seen on screen. Walking through the imposing marble columns, you will discover costumes and prosthetics belonging to Bogrod, Griphook and many other goblin bankers.
Hogwarts in the Snow, 3rd December 2020 - 17th January 2021
New for 2020, the cobbled stones and magical shop fronts of Diagon Alley will be given a festive makeover, draped in layers of filmmaking snow. During filming, many different types of ‘snow’ were used, each selected for its ability to crunch under foot, float like falling flakes or glisten in the light like ice, but never melt. The same techniques will be used by filmmakers to cover the magical shopping street this year.
A Celebration of Slytherin returns for 2021! The special feature will run until 15th September 2021
Known throughout the eight films for its ambition and links to dark magic, Slytherin house is home to some of the greatest wizards of all time. Visitors will discover the secrets behind some of the iconic costumes and props belonging to their favourite, cunning Slytherin characters.
