Description

Our crew welcomes guests on board the powerboat with a light continental breakfast of muffins, fruit and fresh local juices. The captain gives his welcome/safety speech and motors over to Virgin Gorda for our first stop. While your captain clears customs for everyone, the crew will guide guests through the breath-taking Baths. The Baths contain hidden rooms, grottos and caves formed by giant granite boulders strewn across the white sand beaches. Once the guests finish exploring the Baths, Lunch will be at the Top of the Baths restaurant. Snorkelling will be on the next stop in the BVI's. Snorkelling equipment and instruction is included in this tour. The final stop will be at the Soggy Dollar Bar in Jost Van Dyke. The trip was great and the crew even better. Make sure you wear a shoe that is not slippery on the bottom for the hike through the baths on Virgin Gorda. Those who wore sandals just took them off and went barefoot. The hike brings you through thigh high water and was super cool. Lunch was at a very clean restaurant at the top of the hill where we started our hike. We went snorkeling and then to Jost Van Dyke. Great day.

The trip was itself was good. Staff was professional and friendly. I have two issues. The first is lunch, orders were taking on the boat ride for a restaurant onto of the baths. In short the food was mediocre and overpriced. My problem with it was it was kinda the only option. My advice is if you can hold off another hour or so wait until you go to soggy dollar beach and eat lunch there. Still a little pricey but based on how good the drinks were im sure the food is also good. Which brings me to my second petty complaint, the drink on the boat were weak. Obviously I would expect it to be a little watered down but this was basically juice. All in all it was a good trip just wish there was a little more time a lotted for the stop at the baths and less for the lunch. I would go again.

Memorable experience! Great crew! Captain Dave, Brayson and Brad were all very attentive to everyone on board. Very accomadating to every skill level and physical capability. Safe, well run operation. The Baths are a unique geological feature well worth exploring and the snorkeling was great and beaches are stunning. An excursion I will always remember. Thanks Breakaway!
