Warwick castle was more interesting and stunning than I anticipated. Did not have much time to explore and relax in Stratford and in Oxford. The boxed lunch was not worth it at all. The bus was comfortable and the driving was fine. Stratford had the feeling of a tourist trap and Oxford was very busy, with not much time to do anything but look at a few buildings. The worst part was locating the tour to begin with. London is a very busy, crowded place and the instructions for getting from the underground to the tour itself were lacking. None of the tours in this area are actually in the subway station, there are several different places that they can depart from and none of them are well marked. I saw many people hurrying about on the phone to the tour company while trying to locate their bus. Leave yourself an extra half hour. I’m not sure why the tour company/expedia does not provide a map and more specific directions.

The guide was very informed and educational. My only feedback would be to have had a toilette/dinner break before departing oxford for London. From Stratford to London there was no opportunity to go to the bathroom. Otherwise, great time.

Stratford-upon-Avon is a great quaint little town full of life. It’s nice to see. Shakespeare’s birthplace just takes you back & you can imagine Shakespeare living there. Warwick is really nice especially if you’re into medieval culture. It’s only a drive through the Cotswolds, but the town is apparently different in a good way. Oxford makes you feel stupid because it’s such a beautiful school & they only take the best. The history it carries is crazy & it makes you wish you’d have the chance to go there.
