Description

This tour is the ideal way to be introduced to some of the cultural landmarks, iconic beaches, sites and sounds of Thailand's largest island in just half a day. Get your bearings as you travel from the most popular sun-drenched beaches to the largest temple on the island. Everything, of course, is sparkling under the sun so you will definitely want to keep your camera handy!

After you're picked up from your hotel, make your way to Patong Beach—one of the most popular beaches in the area. Take in the view of blonde sands framed by turquoise waters and framatic rock formations just offshore. From there, continue to Karon Viewpoint, where you can enjoy panoramic views of 3 beaches—Kata, Kata Noi, and Karon.

Proceed to Promthep Cape, at the south end of Phuket Island, to snap photos of the breathtaking scenery of the coastline. Next, make your way to the neighbouring Wat Chalong, one of the most venerated temples in Phuket. Admire the beautiful designs of Siamese architecture, and observe the practises of local Buddhist culture.

Lastly, head back to Phuket Town. Pop into a cashew factory to taste and shop for nutty souvenirs, and then cruise through the streets to admire the well-preserved and historic Sino-Portuguese architecture of the city. Your outing ends at the Gems Gallery, where you can opt to stay and shop before hopping on a bus to be dropped off back at your hotel.

This activity/tour was absolutely delightful. We visited some of phukets most famous beaches, those visits turned out to be brief in hindsight but the best highlights was visiting the big bhudda and another holy bhuddhist site. I got to spend some decent time at both Buddhist sites, taking many photos in return and afterwards we visited a small yet very exciting souvenir shop. This shop sold a variety of cashew nuts as well as handmade materials ranging from coconut bowls to these Long style sheets that can be used for a variety of things. Finally we visited a jewellery museum in which we got to experience a mini train ride which explained thai’s mining history and cultivation of the worlds most precious jewels, with authentic mannequins all performing mining duties. Very interesting indeed. Overall a great tour, and our tour guide was excellent because he was polite, enthusiastic and very efficient in his job. Honestly he needs a promotion! Highly recommended. 👍

Basically just a shopping tour of gem store and cashew factory. One stop at the lookout and Wat Chalong. Very basic.
