Settle back in a comfortable seat with plenty of room and complimentary WiFi, snacks and drinks, while you travel to the royal castles on an air-conditioned coach. Your first stop is a guided visit to Linderhof, the only palace King Ludwig II of Bavaria lived to see completed. Follow your tour guide through the exquisite interior and stroll through the landscaped gardens, past fountains and sculptures scattered among flowerbeds.

The tour continues to Oberammergau, where you have time to wander the cobbled alleys of this quaint village. See examples of traditional woodcarvings and discover the setting of the town's famous passion play before you head to Schwangau – home to Neuschwanstein Castle, the most famous of Ludwig's royal projects.

Before your guided tour of the castle, you can either have lunch or set out for Mary's Bridge, one of the best spots to see its eccentric architecture and the majestic Alps as a backdrop. On your guided tour, see how the castle was designed as a place of retreat and listen to intriguing anecdotes about King Ludwig II and his court before returning to Munich.

Checkin process was quick & easy. The luxury coach only had 30 seats so there was plenty of room. You were offered hot & cold drinks when first boarding & there were some small snacks e.g. biscuits. In between travelling to each destination the guide gave a very informative talk & was very knowledgeable. There is quite steep 30-40 min walk/climb up a sloped road when visiting Neuschwanstein so we would not recommend if you have mobility issues. There are horse drawn buggies but you have to wait for them to fill up & theres long queues, but as you have a timed ticket you will need to ensure you get you're timing right. We think for the price of the trip it would have been nice to include a lunch stop rather than having to quickly purchase something in-between the tours. Overall it was a good trip but we felt bit herded around.... Although I would recommend doing it as to try to do the tour/transportation on you own would not be possible.

Barbara and driver made this one of the most enjoyable tours I’ve ever taken in 30 years. Beside the fact that it was a premium tour with incredible seating with veiws all around, their genuine hospitable and wonderful personalities made this an incredibly enjoyable trip. They definitely went a step further without you feeling as though you were asking for to much. The tours were great with no waits or lost time since everything was well handled by them. Definitely worth the price if you don’t want to be herded like cattle into lines and filled busses. Served espresso, beers, sodas and snacks along the way.

Bus, guide and driver were great. The no picture policy in the castles and the castle guide experiences were poor.
