07:30 AM – Pick up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. Leave the bustling streets behind and enjoy a scenic 1.5-hour drive through the countryside to My Tho City, the gateway to the Mekong Delta.
09:00 AM – Visit Vinh Trang Pagoda. Located in Tien Giang province and built in 1849, this iconic pagoda blends Vietnamese, Chinese, and Khmer architecture. Inside, admire its beautiful gardens and more than 60 precious Buddha statues crafted from wood, bronze, and terracotta.
Afterwards, board a motorboat for a leisurely cruise along the Mekong River. Cross to Unicorn Island, one of the famous Four Islands (Dragon, Unicorn, Tortoise, Phoenix). At a local bee farm, sip a refreshing cup of honey tea with kumquat, made from nectar collected by thousands of bees from longan and pomelo blossoms. Then stroll through lush tropical fruit gardens before returning to the boat.
On Unicorn Island, enjoy the sounds of “Đờn Ca Tài Tử”, a traditional folk music style recognised by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage. While listening, taste a selection of fresh tropical fruits such as mango, dragon fruit, and rambutan.
