Description

Join an expert guide to paddle up the river with Florida's most majestic, playful, and yes, cute creatures on the river—the manatee. Travel along the gorgeous Indian River on board a kayak and try not to smile from ear to ear as you become acquainted with these gracious beasts.

Paddle with an expert in Floridian wildlife in the warm waters of the Indian River. The friendly manatees love to laze about on the banks, coves, and lagoons of the brackish estuary, and have no reservations about coming up to the side of your boat to satisfy their innate curiosity.

Known variously as “sea cows” or even as mermaids to early explorers, the reality of the situation is that these friendly creatures are just as interested in you as you are in them. It's not uncommon for humans to feel an intangible, almost spiritual connection with their tender eyes and bashful smiles. Have an experience on the water you can never forget.

Surprised my daughter with this kayak tour. The guides were great in getting us to where the manatees were. Such a cool experience for my daughter to experience. We got the up close and personal kayak tour when two or three manatee playing hit our kayak giving us that "oh shoot we're gonna tip over feeling". It scared and excited my daughter at the same time. Lasted longer than expected which was great. All in all my daughter had a blast and thats what this tour was for.

Fantastic. Brings you back to nature and perfect contrast to the high tech of NASA and the flashiness of Disney. Guides (Max & Nigel) were informative, funny, and made the trip personal with knowledge and their own stories. Saw tons (literally) of Manatee and they seemed to enjoy seeing us. Chances to get up and personal with them in natural setting. Kayaking was in canals and calm waterways so not strenuous at all. Just a perfect two hours.

The guides were very knowledgeable and friendly! The tour was awesome! We had the opportunity to have a dolphin interact with us in the kayaks and we got up close with the manatees! So close that the manatee bumped the bottom of our kayaks several times!
