Description

Delve into an under-the-sea adventure at SEA LIFE London Aquarium for a look at one of Europe’s largest collections of marine life. From sand tiger sharks and green sea turtles to rays and vicious piranhas, the 14 zones in this aquarium—each in the theme of a different ecosystem—offer plenty to explore.

With more than 500 species to see from around the world, begin your discovery face-to-face with unique creatures of the deep. Your first stop: the Shark Reef Encounter. Admire these toothy creatures—ranging from the Bowmouth Guitar Shark (distinctive with its wide body and blunt snout) to the Blacktip Reef Shark with its prominent black-dipped fins—as they glide through the water.

Next door, meander down the Shark Walk, a tank-lined glass walkway, and pretend you’re smack dab in the centre of the ocean. Continue on to the Penguins: Ice Adventure to check in on a group of playful, white-striped Gentoo Penguins as they frolic about the freezing Arctic.

From here, pay a visit to the Ray Lagoon to see the flat and spotty rays gliding along. Learn about the habitats of gentle seahorses and rare Green Sea Turtles until you reach the playful clownfish and colourful coral at Nemo’s Coral Caves.

Whether you want to touch interactive tidal pools or admire the trainers as they feed the resident sharks, the SEA LIFE London Aquarium brings out the aquatic explorer in you.

Unable to use on line tickets - was only allowed access if tickets were printed on paper - not very environmentally friendly- considering their push on the environment. Aquarium itself is fantastic

Great booking via Expedia and what a price saving. Thank you! Although we are arrived in the morning at 11.30am, Sea Life told us next available slot was 1.15pm and we were given tickets to return for then. We weren’t in a rush and chilled out near the London Eye. So a lovely day out overall.
