What you can expect
One, two, three strokes of your paddle is all it akes to enter winding mangrove tunnels. Spot a shark, ray and cuda for the famous “eco slam”.
Embark upon an unforgettable kayaking adventure through the beautiful waters around Key West and the Florida Keys. Learn to kayak and revel in expert narration from a local paddling professional as you absorb the mesmerising sights and sounds of an undeveloped section of Florida's stunning coast.
Join your guide in Key West and get outfitted with a life jacket, paddle, and kayak. Then, head down to some protected waters where you can launch your journey—pushing off from the shore and delighting in the way the kayak coasts lightly on the ocean's tiny waves. As you paddle, keep your eyes peeled for sea life above and below the water.
Use dry bags to keep your camera close by, and search for dolphins, turtles, and rays. Observe exotic birds flitting through the trees and hope to catch sight of an iguana on an exposed rock. Weave in and out of the mangrove trails, enjoying the way the tropical air kisses your skin. Finally, paddle peacefully back to shore with a new-found sense of prowess.
