Experience our authentic Thai Cooking Class in Phuket that begins with a visit to a vibrant local market.
Start your culinary journey at Mae Somchit Kata Fresh Market, where you will explore a lively traditional market filled with fresh vegetables, tropical fruits, aromatic herbs, spices, and other ingredients essential to Thai cuisine. Walking through the market with your instructor is a truly eye-opening experience and a great introduction to Thai food culture.
After the market visit, the experience continues with a hands-on cooking class where you will learn to prepare authentic Thai dishes step by step. One of the highlights is making curry paste from scratch using fresh herbs and spices with a traditional mortar and pestle. You will also learn about the preparation of coconut milk and how it is used in many Thai recipes.
During the class, you will spend about 3.5 hours cooking four delicious Thai dishes. Each dish is cooked individually so you can enjoy it while it’s still hot and fresh. This interactive cooking experience is suitable for beginners and food lovers who want to learn real Thai cooking techniques in a relaxed and friendly environment.
Meet new friends from around the world, share great moments together, and enjoy the flavours of Thailand in a fun and memorable atmosphere.
