Discover an authentic Portuguese town with Venice-like canals, colourful houses, and a beautiful ocean coast. Aveiro is a city on the west coast of Portugal set along a lagoon called Ria de Aveiro with amazing sights, particularly the Cathedral of Aveiro. Nearby is the quirky Costa Nova Beach, the tranquil park of Dom Pedro Infante, as well as the Farol da Barra, the biggest lighthouse in the country.

You will be picked up from your Porto hotel or accommodation by your English-speaking driver and taken on your tailor-made journey through the countryside to Aveiro. Your driver/local guide will share their personal recommendations for photo stops, as well as their knowledge of everywhere you visit. We offer an itinerary as a base with stops that you can include or exclude as you like, within the overall length of the trip.
