What you can expect
Cagliari Cooking Class is a truly Sardinian Experience, that will take you to a journey into Sardinian Culture (my family tradition), Sardinia typical food & wine (different starters any time) and Sardinia Pasta Culture.
You and your friends will learn how to make the handmade filled pasta called “Culurgiones”, a Sardinian speciality..from the region of Blue Zone (Ogliastra)
1. First you will be introduce on the art of making pasta: traditional method for making fresh pasta dough in Sardinia is very simple: semolina, water and salt.
2. You create your own filling..based on the traditional recipe and your taste!
3. It's time to create your “culurgionis” or “angiulotus” or “agnolotti”: a bit of rolling and using a pasta machine..you will be ready to create the culurgiones, which is the hardest and the funniest part since is complicated closing for some people.
4. After enough culurgiones to eat are closed (more or less 20 each) we are ready to set up teh tabel for the aperitif; white wine + season appetiser; on request menu for vegetarions or dairy free people.
Once we are at the table another experience start…we talk about food, travel, Sardinia Tips and tricks and some times we introduce at sardinia music or some friends join us!
