Combo Tour: Dolphin Watching Cruise & Cable Car Ride

by Dolphin Adventure Duration 3h 30m Free cancellation available No booking or credit card fees
per adult Price is £29

Journey through the bay to discover dolphins playing and performing aquatic acrobatics in their natural environment. After snapping a few photos, return to the island to ride a cable car up the limestone walls of the Rock of Gibraltar for breath-taking views of the entire coastline.

Find your way to Gibraltar’s Marina Bay to meet up with your boat captain and to board the Dolphin Adventure to begin your tour. The catamaran has seating for all passengers and features a massive twin hull designed to increase stability in order to provide a smooth ride. As you leave the bay, sit back and relax while your boat captain provides insightful commentary about the various species of dolphin that inhabit the region along with current conservation efforts to protect them. Dolphins are very social animals and their curiosity leads them to interact with the tour boat, so don’t forget to bring a camera to photograph them breaching the water or riding the bow waves.

After an hour out at sea, the Dolphin Adventure returns to Marina Bay to disembark and begin the next leg of the journey to the Rock of Gibraltar. The cable car station is a mile south of the marina and your ticket can be redeemed at any time during their opening hours. Board the cable car and travel up 1,400 feet (426.72 metre) above sea level to the top of the rock where grand views of the entire coastline await. Meanwhile, be on the lookout for elusive Barbary apes hidden among the trees. Take a moment to enjoy the landscape and to capture a few pictures before returning back down the cable car to conclude your tour.

Very experienced knowledgeable friendly staff, excellent service. Trip deal well worth money but to take in everything (vessel and top of rock) an early booking recommended. Not the companies fault and development works going on near roadway entrance but more signage would be helpful from road.
