Join a local restaurant owner for a delicious lesson in Thai cooking right in her very own studio kitchen. After a scenic boat ride to her riverside home, learn how to use fresh herbs and aromatic spices to prepare 2 of her favourite family recipes, and then tuck into a flavourful lunch feast.

Head to the Bang Wa BTS Station to meet Aoy, a passionate food lover who splits her time between teaching Thai cooking and running a home restaurant. Drive to the banks of the Tha Chin River, where you board a boat that Aoy steers herself. Admire the views of local homes and lush vegetation while you glide to her own riverside residence.

Once you arrive, grab a welcome drink before heading to Aoy's professional studio kitchen. Discover a world of zesty flavours as you learn how to prepare 2 of her personal favourite dishes based on her family's recipes. Roll up your sleeves to chop vegetables and pound spices, all while enjoying the lively atmosphere created by your fun-loving host.

After your hands-on lesson, celebrate your achievements with a delectable meal in Aoy's at-home restaurant. Gaze out at the river while you tuck into dishes like Muu had grachhay (fried pork marinated in herbs), Gang phed ped yang (red curry with roasted duck), and Somtamlood (noodle-wrapped green papaya with shrimp and long green beans), all artfully presented with flowers and garden herbs. Finish off with an authentic Thai dessert, and pick up some recipes to take home before bidding Aoy farewell.

Aoy went above and beyond to to make you feel like part of her family. Before taking us on the ride to her resturaunt she took us to a beautiful park just outside of bangkok that i would of never gotten the pleasure of seeing that had bonzai tree gardens and a beautiful statue of a standing buddah. On top of that she bought us fried plantains and at the conclusion of our class took the time to sit with us and explain how to get ariund bangkok because she could tell we were struggling getting around. She also gave us tips on how to avoid getting scammed . Aoy tour has made me a traveling spoon customer for life anytime i travel. i think this the best tour and dinining experience ive had in all of my travels. Well worth the short train ride outsidenof The city limits would not change a thing
