Though perhaps not as well known as its Indian Ocean neighbours, including The Seychelles<\/a> and The Maldives<\/a>, the island nation off of Eastern Africa has plenty of fantastic Comoros hotels<\/a>. ### Experience the rich history of Moroni<\/p>\n

Moroni, the capital of Comoros, is a terrific place to check out some of Comoros’ history. The Grand Mosque du Vendredi showcases the city’s Arab influences and makes for a beautiful photo, while the market allows you a glimpse of the local culture. Almost every day, sea turtles come to Itsamia to lay their eggs. Though there’s a chance you may not see them, if you do, it’s an incredibly moving moment to witness.<\/p>\n

Boasting perhaps some of the best beaches in the country, the island of Moh\u00e9li has no shortage of gorgeous beaches for you to lounge on.
