Here are some of our favourites.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/a.travel-assets.com\/findyours-php\/viewfinder\/images\/res40\/72000\/72331.jpg\" alt=\"Watermelon\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Kerrie, at <a href=\"http:\/\/familyfoodandtravel.com\/2015\/09\/watermelon-feta-and-fig-salad.html\">Family Food and Travel<\/a> made a mouth-watering watermelon salad, which incorporated figs and feta for a sweet and refreshing taste sensation &#8211; perfect for a warm summer&#8217;s day.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/a.travel-assets.com\/findyours-php\/viewfinder\/images\/res40\/72000\/72332.jpg\" alt=\"Pumpkin pasties\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The mind behind the <a href=\"http:\/\/happiness-is-homemade.com\/2015\/09\/15\/cypriot-kolokotes-pumpkin-pasties-cypryjskie-kolokotes-dyniowe-paszteciki\/\">Happiness is Homemade<\/a> blog, Sylvia, made the perfect seasonal Cypriot dish using pumpkin and sultana, all enclosed in a flaky shortcrust pasty!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/a.travel-assets.com\/findyours-php\/viewfinder\/images\/res40\/72000\/72333.jpg\" alt=\"Beef stifado\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Sarah, author of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tamingtwins.com\/2015\/09\/21\/slimming-world-beef-stifado\/\">Taming Twins<\/a>, cooked up a health-conscious Cypriot dish that didn&#8217;t compromise on flavour! Her beef stifado recipe is rich and heart-warming, while still being super simple to whip up.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/a.travel-assets.com\/findyours-php\/viewfinder\/images\/res40\/72000\/72334.jpg\" alt=\"Feta salad\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Cherry from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sweetmemoirs.com\/2015\/08\/i-joined-expedia-world-on-plate.html#.VgUfmctVhHy\">Sweet Memoirs<\/a> opted for a fresh and colourful feta and pomegranate salad. Cherry was intrigued by the native Cypriot carob syrup and decided to add this to her array of leaves, feta, tomatoes and pomegranate seeds.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/a.travel-assets.com\/findyours-php\/viewfinder\/images\/res40\/72000\/72335.jpg\" alt=\"Pork kebabs with salad and pitta\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Laura from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.howtocookgoodfood.co.uk\/2015\/09\/bbq-pork-souvlaki\/\">How to Cook Good Food<\/a> used to be a chef, and certainly knows a thing or two about being in the kitchen. A spell of sunny summer weather gave Laura a good excuse to get the BBQ out, rustling up pork souvlaki with salad, pitta and tzatziki.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/a.travel-assets.com\/findyours-php\/viewfinder\/images\/res40\/72000\/72336.jpg\" alt=\"Chicken and halloumi kebab\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Becky, <a href=\"http:\/\/englishmum.com\/chicken-and-halloumi-souvlaki.html\">The English Mum<\/a>, also decided that souvlaki was a creation she&#8217;d like to try her hand at. Becky went for a combination of chicken and flavourful halloumi for her meal. This traditional dish has inspired Becky further, who would now like to head to Cyprus for her holidays!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/a.travel-assets.com\/findyours-php\/viewfinder\/images\/res40\/72000\/72337.jpg\" alt=\"Fig Jam with crackers\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Camilla at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fabfood4all.co.uk\/simple-fig-jam\/\">Fab Food 4 All<\/a> knew exactly what she wanted to cook for the Expedia World on a Plate challenge, and that was simple fig jam. Drawing upon her experience of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.expedia.co.uk\/vc\/package-holidays\/greece\">holidays to Greece<\/a>, Camilla whipped up this Cypriot treat, pairing it perfectly with cheese and crackers.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/a.travel-assets.com\/findyours-php\/viewfinder\/images\/res40\/72000\/72338.jpg\" alt=\"Semolina Pudding Cake\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Self-confessed foodie, Aimee, from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.twiggstudios.com\/2015\/09\/cypriot-semolina-pudding-cake\/\">Twigg Studios<\/a>, opted for a unique choice for the challenge, making a semolina pudding cake with a combination of semolina rice, cream, runny honey and nuts. Served up with a side of pears and figs, this is one Cypriot recipe that will leave your mouth watering!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/a.travel-assets.com\/findyours-php\/viewfinder\/images\/res40\/72000\/72339.jpg\" alt=\"Chicken with olives\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Krista at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.passportdelicious.com\/2015\/09\/i-cooked-some-chicken-for-the-expediaworldonaplate-challenge.html\">Passport Delicious<\/a> used her newfound cooking skills to try out this classic chicken dish with olives and lemons.
