“Rio Sagrado is a lovely stop in the Sacred Valley - the rooms are beautiful and the whole estate felt peaceful. It’s a great pit stop between Cusco and Machu Picchu, and a nice way to experience another part of Peru.”
“The perfect hotel to start your Peru trip - set in a beautiful historic former monastery with a gorgeous courtyard in the middle of Cusco. Rooms are comfortable, and can even be oxygen-enriched (amazing when you’re adjusting to the altitude). Breakfast was a highlight, and the location made it so easy to explore the city!”
“Sanctuary Lodge is the ultimate place to stay if you’re visiting Machu Picchu. You’re right outside the entry gates, so you can get in early and make the most of the most incredible views without the stress of travelling up and down the mountain. It’s definitely a splurge, and the rooms aren’t the main selling point, but the food, drinks and location are worth it.”
“I also stayed Casa Andina Premium, a really comfortable and slightly more budget-friendly option for Cusco. The rooms are simple but lovely, the location is great, and the breakfast was amazing. They also had coca tea available all day, which is a nice touch when you’re adjusting to the altitude”
