“Top marks go to all the great value Z Hotels in WC2! It doesn't really matter which one you stay in. I personally enjoy the Trafalgar one at New Year because you are close to all the action. My top tip is to forget the crowded river front for the fireworks and stand on Trafalgar Square instead. I always stand on the National Portrait Gallery steps. You will have the best view without the crowds.”
