We absolutely loved our stay at Verdelago and would happily return. The resort is beautiful, the staff were wonderful throughout, and the restaurant team in particular were fantastic. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and really made the stay feel special. Honestly, the only things missing for us were a spa and a heated pool. Add those and it would be pretty much perfect! We had such a lovely time and would definitely stay again.

The Hotel is ok. Our shower was the best part of our room. To be honest, the hotel is great for one major reason … The location and convenience to Tabitha’s downtown town life without being too close. Plus the bakery around the corner was the perfect start to our afternoon walks. We won’t stay there again … it’s a one time kind of stay. If it wasn’t for the all you can eat breakfast buffet it would be a total waste … just get there first thing before it gets congested with hungry, rude patrons. Luis and his team showed consistent, high level customer service.

Location was excellent - easy reach of beach and restaurants and we had a wonderful holiday. However, the Nau Swimming Pool was over-run with children and families so we did not use it unfortunately. Further negatives were that there was a dirty nappy left on the balcony from previous occupants and we had to continually go and ask at reception for towels (not enough were supplied and were not replaced until we asked) and also for toilet roll (not enough was supplied and it was not replaced without asking). Another annoying issue was again regarding the supply of the shower gel and body lotion - we had to ask at reception for this to be replenished when it ran out but this should have been done automatically without asking during the cleaning/ normal maintenance. Also, the patio doors on the lower floor where the bedrooms were did not lock so we ended up having the shutters closed for the whole stay which was not ideal.
