If you are looking for larger space to unwind this could be the hotel for you.
However hotel needs room renovations. The bed is very low and the linen is in dire need of replacement.
Breakfast is always a highlight at this property.

Beautiful hotel with great history! The location in Casco Viejo was perfect for our visit to Panama City and we were easily able to walk or order a car/Uber from there for various trips. We had a family suite, which was a king and full size bed room that worked well for our family of 3. The rooftop pool is small, but lovely and the restaurant near the pool was great with friendly staff. The Central Hotel is a gorgeous place and the staff at the front desk, door and restaurants were all nice and helpful.

The rooftop wasn’t open unfortunately, otherwise this was a stay with an an amazing view of the screw building. The room was huge and it felt safe.

In the bathroom, the shower tiles and glass door had green mold, the headboard had strange white stains, and the curtains were very dusty. The staff was very friendly and provided excellent service. However, I have other complaints regarding the bathroom and room.
