Fabulous property. Hotels is beautiful, with incredible views of the Adriatic Sea. rooms are spacious and very well appointed. Lobby is spacious and welcoming. Staff is exceptional. Adanan the operations manager makes sure every guest is well taken care of. He is a professional who cares about his guests. This is our second stay at Hotel Joel, we plan to return. We didn't choose this hotel. Our other accommodation cancelled the day before and Hotels.com found this option for us. I wouldn't have chosen a family hotel but we were desperate. Housekeeping was erratic - one day they emptied the bin, another day they made the bed, one day they cleaned the bathroom. Saggy mattresss & a gap between the bed and the wall so the pillow disappeared. Breakfast buffet excellent & lovely breakfast staff. When we went to use the indoor pool, there was nobody on reception. After a few minutes, I went to the main hotel reception & asked them to call the wellness staff. It was clear from her tone on the phone that she was being rude about people complaining. When I returned to the pool, the wellness staff member was rude. The lockers in the changing rooms don't have keys. We were told "kids stole them." There is no private changing room: I was told if I wanted privacy to go in the shower cubicle. The pool is OK but was always packed so we couldn't swim. We paid our tourist tax the night before leaving due to an early start. On departure we returned the swipe card & were asked if we had ordered a lunchbox to go - we hadn't because we hadn't been made aware we could. We would definitely have taken one because of missing breakfast. The rooms at the back are called "park view" but there is no park. There is a carpark which is noisy with frequent delivery trucks leaving the engine running. Also, there is a constant rumble of hotel air-con 24-hours a day.

Lovre has fantastic rooms, well decorated, drinks and snacks in our fridge. An amazing location and beautiful experience in old town.

The hotel is right by the beach. There's parking space at the entrance of the hotel. It is far from other bussinesses so no options to walk outside the resort for shopping or food. We stayed there by the end of April and it was pretty quiet, there did not seem to be many guests. Our room was modern, spacious and there was plenty of light. It had two separate spaces: one with the main bed (and no TV) and a small living room where the sofa had been turned into a bed for our kid. It had a balcony with views to the resort. The mattress was sturdy and comfortable. Sofa bed was not too bad for a sofa bed. The room had a mini fridge though no microwave. The bathroom had a shower and some toiletries. The TV had limited options of channels though there were channels in different languages. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was the indoor pool and our son enjoyed it but the water was quite cold (it was the end of April). Probably because of this there was no one else besides us. The hotel has plenty of ammenities and a private beach but it was very quiet. We had booked dining and breakfast with our stay and this was perhaps the most disappointing aspect of our experience. Diner was a buffet with limited options and not very tasty international fare. Drinks were not included and we were charged 6€ for a 75cl bottle of water! The same goes for breakfast: limited options and quality. Maybe it is different in high season when the hotel is packed.

The resort was beautiful, and we had a very peaceful stay. The restaurant options are limited, but what they offered was good, and the staff were so friendly. There is a little convenience store on the property if you want further food options. I had thought there was a gym, but there is only an outdoor workout area. Overall, if you like being remote in a peaceful setting far from the crowds, this place is great.

We had a wonderful stay and couldn’t be happier with our experience. The staff truly went above and beyond to make our family feel welcome and comfortable throughout our visit. Traveling with a young child can sometimes be challenging, but the team consistently exceeded our expectations with their kindness, attentiveness, and willingness to help. Our room was spotless, well-maintained, and very comfortable. The amenities were excellent and thoughtfully designed for both relaxation and family enjoyment. The baby pool was an absolute highlight for our little one and provided hours of fun in a safe and welcoming environment. We were also impressed by the playground, which was beautifully maintained and offered a fantastic space for children to play and explore. Overall, this hotel delivered an exceptional family-friendly experience. We truly appreciated the outstanding service, excellent facilities, and warm hospitality. We would gladly return and highly recommend it to other families looking for a relaxing and memorable stay.
